Dogs of the JK Corral (and friends)

My life isn’t all about travel and exotic animals. There are also the many dogs that reside in my home, or visit, or rest for a while, whatever they need. I am here to love them all. I will keep this a running post of my babies.

Meet Mr. Man, aka Manny. He is a 9-year old (in 2019) English Bulldog. He adopted me in 2014 from the same rescue as his "sister" Lucy (they were breeders at the same place before coming into rescue).
The view most evenings from my couch.
What is this thing you call social distancing???
If only I could know what he was thinking....
Just too stinking cute!
He loved his cousin Dozer
Manny with his best friend Lola at Boxcar Bar and Arcade February 2020. As a former breeder, Manny is working off his karmic debt by supporting Carolina Boxer Rescue. As you can see here, Lola the Diva felt the chair should be hers! (can you tell she's an only-dog?)
Me with Lola at the Boxcar event. She was all about some Janine this day!!
Supporting Carolina Boxer Rescue at Little City Brewery in Raleigh - he was modeling the merchandise.
Manny's friend Lola and Lola's mom Mel.
Angus came to visit too!!
Manny doesn't look too impressed to have Angus at this event. Manny says HE is the only bulldog allowed at CBR events!!!
This little beauty is Marnie. Unfortunately, Marnie had some bad experiences with other dogs in her past and she just couldn't seem to get used to Manny. I was relieved to know how much her foster family loved her and they adopted her when I couldn't. I miss that sweet face!!
